The Honhar Scholarship 2026 — officially known as the CM Punjab Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program — is a flagship financial assistance initiative launched by the Government of Punjab, Pakistan under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The programme is managed jointly by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
The scholarship targets talented students from low- and moderate-income families who demonstrate strong academic ability but face financial obstacles in pursuing higher education. Selected students receive 100% tuition fee coverage along with a monthly financial stipend, enabling them to focus on their studies without the burden of educational costs.
The programme covers a wide range of academic disciplines including engineering, medical sciences, IT, business studies, agriculture, natural sciences, and social sciences — across approved public and private universities and colleges in Punjab.
